The Dark Malta Festival is growing and growing. In 2023, the 1,000 visitor mark was exceeded for the first time.

In the past, we were able to experience great headliners on the island, such as Lord Of The Lost, Moonspell, Deathstars, Project Pitchfork… Next year, the festival will celebrate its first small anniversary. The fifth edition of the festival is approaching.

The festival in 2024 will take place from April 19th to April 21st. Ticket pre-sales started on July 17th, 2023.

All headliners for the anniversary edition of the festival have already been announced.

Plan a few extra days for your festival trip to Malta – the island is bursting with attractions. Here’s a small selection of highlights you shouldn’t miss: the capital Valletta, Popeye Village, Mdina, Blue Grotto, Dingli Cliffs, boat trip to Gozo – and there’s much more to discover. When looking for a hotel, you don’t necessarily have to search close to the festival grounds. Malta is so small that you can easily roll up with a taxi/Bolt – a ride costs about 12 euros per 10 kilometers.
