QUICKIE OF THE WEEK: A short interview with Linda Toni Grahn (Follow The Cipher)

Pix666: Hello Linda. The most important question right at the beginning. Are you well and are you healthy?

Linda: Hello!! I’m healthy and fine thanks and I hope you are fine as well!

Pix666: Your album ‘Follow The Cipher’ was released in 2018. I can well imagine that you are currently using the time to write new songs, or are you even already in the studio?

Linda: We have started the process. Ken and Viktor are right now in the studio and they write new fantastic music for vol.2.

Pix666: When will your next concerts with an audience take place, and do you think that these dates can be kept?

Linda: We are going to do a show in Spain in September 26th at GinetaRock, but we don’t know yet if it will be possible. We hope so!

Pix666: Will Follow The Cipher play a live streaming session – if so, where can the fans see it?

Linda: We have started to talk about this, and we have also asked our dear fans and followers via Follow the Cipher’s SoMe if they are interested in a live show online – it was a very convincing YES! So we’re planning to do one this year. I don’t know when, because it’s something we want to do very serious and we want to do a good plan for the whole show.

Pix 666: How are the other guys from the band, how are your friends and families? How do you stay in touch with them, what kind of technics do you use?

Linda: So far everybody are healthy, thank god! We use to talk in phone and send messages. I call my mother every day. I miss her so much but I don’t want to take any risk to visit her yet.

Pix666: You are from Sweden – you deal with the Corona crisis differently than in many other countries. What is the general mood in the country regarding the Corona crisis and do people at your place talk about the strict measures in other countries, what is the opinion about that??

Linda: I know that Sweden are on the news in other countries, some people have contacted me from different countries and they have asked why we do this in this way. Well, everything is about to not have too many sick people at the same time in Sweden. In that way the people who works at the hospital can help all the patients. Meanwhile there will be a herd immunity that maybe will help all the people in the risk groups, but I don’t know if it will work. It’s very sad that so many elderly got sick and died because of this situation. I think it’s hard to know exactly the answer. No one really knows how the right way looks like in this Corona pandemic time. I hope there will be a good vaccin on the market soon.

Pix666: Do you believe that this crisis will change the behaviour of humanity in the future?

Linda: I think that we all need to think in another way. The planet are washed-up and we all need to do things in another way. But with that said, I think it also will be for the best in the end. I believe that through these hard times there will be new times when we need to create a new world. I think that we already are going in that position but Corona has made the process going faster in that direction. Somethings doesn’t want to change but other things will. I hope we’ll think twice and that our heart will choose the kind values in every situation.

Pix666: What things, apart from being live on stage, do you miss the most at the moment?

Linda: I miss to have the opportunity to travel to another country AND I miss my mother so much. I just want to hug her and never let her go again 😉

Pix666: Do you have any other news about Follow The Cipher that you would like to share with the fans?

Linda: Hehe…..maybe there will be something for your ears soon…..
