Pix666: Hey. Thanks for taking the time for the interview. How are you doing?
Scarlet: Amazing
Thirsty: Very good thank you
Pix666: Please tell us briefly what triggered you to become musicians?
Scarlet: It was the only outlet for the darkness inside me.
Thirsty: Yeah, to combind melody, lyrics and performance we really can reach peoples deepest places
Pix666: … and how did it all begin with SCARLET?
Scarlet: It really was always there in different forms. It all came together when me and Thirsty met. Like the puzzle was done.
Pix666: You released the debut album in 2020 – in the middle of the pandemic. Did the long duration of the pandemic interfere with some of your plans?
Scarlet: Only when it came to live performences. Otherwise not.
Thirsty: We have been truly fortunate to be able to stay active during the pandemic.
Pix666: Now you have released new songs this year – the wonderful ‚Everybody Dies‘ including a great video clip and the brand new single ‚Red Lights‘. How were the reactions to the new songs so far and will there be more this year, maybe a complete new album?
Scarlet: It has been overwhelming I must say. We have had only great response!
Thirsty: Exactly. Since we hadnt release anything in over a year we didnt know what to expect but it has been fantastic! Our fans are the best!
Pix666: You were just on tour. Can you describe the feeling of finally being on stage again?
Scarlet: It is unbelievable. The fans are SICK! We love them som much!
Thirsty: The feeling is mostly hapiness and thankfulness. We really give a 1000 percent.
Pix666: Are there already plans for more shows over the year, or maybe some festival dates?
Scarlet: Hell yes!
Thirsty: Absolutely ? Not that we tell yet 😉
Pix666: Let’s get back to your songs. How do you create your songs and what topics do you mainly sing about?
Scarlet: Different ways. Most of the time we sit with one of our producers in an inspirational location with some whiskey and a guitar and everything comes to us very easy.
Thirsty: Yes. And the topics are dark and melancolic. 100% of the time. Haha.
Pix666: … and who had the idea to give you this cool styling? The outfits and the make-up are really amazing.
Scarlet: Thank you so much.
Thirsty: Its just the way we look all the time. We were born like this ?
Pix666: How important is the visual aspect of your band for you, especially in the social media age?
Scarlet: Its super important for us. Its one of many ways to express our selves
Thirsty: We live in an age where we are able to show off ourselves in so many ways. Not just the music. We noticed that through the visuals we can reach more people and be a sorce of inspiration.
Pix666: Apart from your music, is there any cool SCARLET merch to buy? I think the fans want to have your faces on a shirt ?
Scarlet: Yes there is! We printed a new collection jsut for the european tour.
Thirsty: Exaclty and that will soon be avalible online
Pix666: Tell me a little bit about your dreams…. In which locations or at which festivals would you like to perform and with which band(s) would you like to go on tour in the future?
Scarlet: Tour with Metallica, Ghost and Lady GaGa
Thirsty: Coachella! Wacken of course
Pix666: Do you have any other news about SCARLET or some interesting personal things about you that you would like to share with the fans?
Scarlet: YES we do! BUT its very much a secret! Thirsty, should we tell?
Thirsty: We really want to tell but we have to keep quiet for a while longer
